You have every right to be mad. I have been a bad bad blogger. So bad in fact I have posts pending and waiting to just be written. Sigh…
Understand, basketball season is rough. Lack of sleep, extra hours, and just a crazy emotional roller coaster. BUT that is no excuse for my negligence. So here is a little recap.
I’ve been eating a lot… LIKE A LOT! But that’s great for you because if you have been following me on Facebook, you’ve seen I have shared those experiences with all of you. And who doesn’t like to look at beautiful food.
My New Years was wonderful. I spent it with some of my best friends and my sister. It really was a perfect way to start a great 2014. I hope all the rest of you had as wonderful of an evening.
I didn’t make a resolution this year, seeing as I always feel guilty when I can’t keep it. But I did make myself some goals, and hopefully find out how to balance my life and see a positive progression. Did any of you plan something good for this coming year?
I’ve team up with the UCLA Alumni Los Angeles Westside Network and will be volunteering on their board to help raise funds for Scholarships and put on events. We have some cool stuff coming up. Bruins, make sure you check out our page and come say hello to me at a Networking mixer or two.
All in all, 2014 has been a challenge, but a GREAT challenge. The year will give me a new path; I know this. And I can’t wait to hopefully share with all of you some cool upcoming progress. For one, I spent last Saturday as a Guest Speaker at my Master’s program. I was unbelievably nervous, but all in all did a tremendous job. I think the students appreciated what I had to say and hopefully I get the opportunity again in the future.
Make 2014 your best year. Keep the comments and questions coming. Thank you for all being so wonderful. I promise food recipes soon!
